    M.Tony Peralta: Art Ambassador of the 2018 Dominican Day Parade

    This past Sunday, August 12th, the board of The Dominican Day Parade commemorated Tony Peralta as the art ambassador. The board showed their appreciation to the contributions and impact Tony has had in the Dominican community in New York City. Check out some of the images from the parade below. 

     

    "Yo Amo Mi Pajón" Capsule Event at Taller Peralta

    This past Wednesday, July 25th, Carolina Contreras, founder of the Miss Rizos Salon in The Dominican Republic, had a curly hair event here at Taller Peralta! Carolina embraces her natural locks, and encourages other woman to do the same. She established the first hair salon of its kind, for natural hair in the island. Artist M.Tony Peralta and Carolina, collaborated on a small capsule of t-shirts, totes and prints with her famous catch phrase "Yo Amo Mi Pajón", designed by Tony himself.     Tony Peralta x Bienal de Diseño 2018 in the Dominican Republic

    This past week, artist M.Tony Peralta was part of the "Bienal de Diseño 2018" in El Centro Cultural de España in The Dominican Republic. Tony was featured amongst other Dominican artist residing in D.R. and outside the island like fashion designers Raul Lopez and Jose Duran. The show was focused on architects, graphic, fashion, and industrial designers as well. Below is a brief recap of the exhibition.
