The Peralta Project was founded in 2005 by native New Yorker M. Tony Peralta.
After participating in his first group art show in 2004 Peralta decided to print one of his more popular paintings, The Gaza Strip, on T-shirts. The shirts were carried by street wear boutiques like Probus, Goliath, The Vault, World, Empire Boutique, Nostylgia and The Brooklyn Circus.
Now almost 10 years old the brand has matured into an extension of Peralta’s original artwork and inventive graphic designs. He mixes New York City Latino grit with hip-hop culture to create designs that resonate with people from all walks of life.
Those who connect with The Peralta Project are bold, opinionated, intelligent, fearless, humorous, defiant trendsetters who run the world at their own pace, trusting their vision every step of the way.
