The Bayahibe Rose, also known as Leuenbergeria Quisqueyana, is the official flower of the Dominican Republic. Despite its name, this rose is actually a cactus and is one of the few cactus species to have leaves. It is only found near the town of Bayahibe and is currently classified as critically endangered due to habitat loss.
